Bay City Post July 2013

                                          Bay City Post
July 2013                                                                 Issue #28
***************************************************
WELCOME to the twenty-eighth issue of the Bay City Post! -Keeping you updated on the best city on the grid.

Freedom!

Has a nice ring to it doesn’t it?! We sometimes lose sight sometimes lose the fight … one step back two forward.

First they came for the prims…. But I wasn’t a prim, then they came for the children… but I wasn’t a child. (OK the child thing worked out pretty well) Then they came for the gamblers… but I wasn’t a gambler either. The sex addicts they put in a concentration camp :o, the spammers, griefers, bots… ok maybe some of that was good… The vampires and furries … alright we got moles \o/ Moles! But when they came for the Barbie’s… there was nobody left to speak up for me… you’d speak up for me wouldn’t you?!? Of course I’m seven feet tall and beautiful in RL… get your hands off my GOS!!!
In the United States the Supreme Court had a moment of clarity in ruling that the federal government can no longer fail to recognize same sex marriages. Can you imagine that in some of our lifetimes there was a time when interracial marriages were not allowed?! WT?!
We all share one fundamental thing. That is that we are human. We all love. We all bleed. (Sometimes much to our vampire friend’s delight…. eeek) We all share wonder, joy, sorrow, hope, and so much more. I hope all discrimination will be at an end very very soon.
I pray that everyone can live in a free society; one that will help us to attain out highest ambitions, allow us to reach our greatest potentialities and to grow, prosper, and share together in the bounties of this world.
May we all someday be understood, accepted… or at the very least respected. That I demand for myself and for others. I celebrate you all!

oooooh it’s a twofer!

Happy July everyone!!!!
Mari wants BIG Boom…. come to see the fireworks at the Bay City fairgrounds!!!

Sunny Salutations   \o/

Anthony said “This isn't a grand opening and you don't need to buy anything. This is strictly social.”    But sold us all mountains of cars hehe pretty cool ones at that! Keep up the great work Anthony! And thanks to Maureen for being the hostess with the MOSTess!!!!
